The backbone of Trevala fishing rods is the fine diameter one-piece TC4 blank. They’re not much fatter than your average pencil, yet pack the strength to tackle the likes of kingfish, tuna and GT’s.
Line classes range from 15 pounds up to 100 pounds. Lure Jig weights start with the TVC70LB and TVS70LB model at max to 100 grams, with the TVC58XXHB and TVS58XXHB jigging weights up to a max of 400 grams. Rod lengths vary beteen 5ft 8 inches and 7ft.
Fuji hardware completes a classy rod series, with KR-O rings and lightweight fishing reel seats. Comfort and ergonomics are enhanced with the custom shaped EVA grips.
The Shimano Trevala Rod is explicitly designed for fishing the shallower reefs targeting the likes of tuna, yellowtail kingfish, GT’s, Cobia and much more. The lighter models will suit a host of reef species including snapper.
