I've not personally fished the Powerbait Honeyball lures yet (I'm too busy running the tackle shop at the moment). However, I'm selling plenty of them instore. Notably, the 120mm has been a popular size for anglers chasing murray cod. With the cost of living ever increasing, I'm seeing a huge shift away from expensive hardbody swimbaits like the Gigantarel and uptake in soft plastics again.
Some of our local customers here in the Illawarra have also been getting stuck into the bass and flathead with some impressive results.
Based on our sales data and customer feedback, I recommend using Midnight Tiger for Australian bass or yellowbelly, Swamp Gas or Tennessee Shad for flathead, and Camo for bream. Camo has consistently performed well in other plastic baits and should be equally effective for the Powerbait Honeyball.
Not Forgetting Cod and Barra, Lime Ice, Green Pumpkin Pearl White or Swamp Gas, in my opinion, are the top picks.
