Lure Up Legendary Battles with a Fishcraft Dr Stretch Lure
Born from Fishcraft's unrelenting drive to create the ultimate native species lure, the buoyant Dr Stretch Lure bursts onto the scene to rouse Australia’s most iconic sportfish from bream to barra.
Available in carefully calibrated 65mm and 85mm sizes, this diving minnow fishing lure awakens aggressive instincts with an ingenious internal rattle, producing low-frequency pulses that spark feeding frenzies in the water.
Built Specifically for Inshore Fishing Success
Rigorously tested to excel across a range of Aussie fishing landscapes from estuaries to lakes, the Fishcraft Dr Stretch Lure swims with an enticing action fined-tuned to provoke attacks from opportunists like flathead to more discerning targets such as golden perch and bass. Cast or troll this lure through likely ambush zones and wait for chaos to erupt.
The Fish Catch List
While especially lethal on XOS flathead stalking the flats, Dr Stretch tempts threadfin salmon, tailor and a who's who of Australian sportfish with a perfectly balanced floating buoyancy and tight wobbling action imitating vulnerable baitfish. The ABS construction and razor-sharp trebles ensure the Fishcraft Dr Stretch Lure keeps ticking longer after repeated tussles with sharp-toothed fishy opponents.

Fish Craft Dr Stretch Fishing Lure FAQ:
Why does the Dr Stretch work so well on big flathead?
Its perfect imitation of vulnerable baitfish triggers instinctive strikes from these opportunistic ambush predators. The rattle and tight wobbling action are tuned to further stimulate aggression, which can turn into epic flatty catches.
What Colours do Fishcraft Dr Stretch Lures come in?
At our fishing tackle shop, we offer a variety of popular colours that are in demand by anglers. These colours include the Silver Shad, which has a noticeable shimmy, Pink Prawn, which provides a semi-natural approach, the Grey Ghost, which is our top-selling colour as it represents a wide range of native baitfish and has proven to be successful in other brands with similar concepts. There is also Pink Scarlett, which offers a unique point-of-difference lure. Please note that our range of colours for sale may change occasionally.
When fishing with the Fishcraft Dr Stretch Lure, is it better to use monofilament or braided line?
You can use either. Braid will give you better casting distance and sensitivity, but mono is more abrasion-resistant if fishing around snags. However, we suggest a quality fluorocarbon leader to help counter abrasion when using braid.
