Wire hook remover/de-hooker

The wire fish de-hooker is extremely easy to use. Run the line through the hook part at the end of the de-hooker, and holding the line above tool, and pull the line tight to bring the de-hooker down until it engages with the fishing hook. Once at this point there are 2 methods-the rolling method and the flip method.

Rolling method: Keeping the line tight, raise the hand holding the tool up, while at the same time lower the hand holding the line. This will turn the hook in the mouth of the fish, and often the fish will fall off the hook at this point. Sometimes, it can help to bring the line further around that will increase the angle on the hook more. A jiggle of the de-hooker tool will also help dislodge the hook.

Flip method: Pull the line against the tool so the line is horizontal, and then flip the de-hooker hand in a clockwise motion. This motion will remove the hook.
